And Castle Craig hospital believe that treating crypto addiction can be achieved through the use of similar 12-step programmes that exist for alcoholism and drug addiction. Indeed, as with drug addiction clinics, they are encouraging people to come forward if they are being affected by the behavior of a potential addict too.

It is not known how many crypto addicts are really out there, but there are several stories of people losing life savings and getting into extreme debt because of unexpected crashes.
