Elon Musk “Literally Own(s) Zero Cryptocurrency”
Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) has revealed his cryptocurrency holdings. The man who is widely known for his love for technological innovation, has admitted that he holds just 0.25 BTC and no other cryptocurrency. “I literally own zero cryptocurrency, apart from 0.25 BTC that a friend sent me many years ago”, he tweeted in response to an inquiry into the Twitter scam claim that he had given away 5,000 ETH as part of a commemorative event.
Not sure. I let @jack know, but it’s still going. I literally own zero cryptocurrency, apart from .25 BTC that a friend sent me many years ago.

0.25 BTC – Probably a Good Thing!
That’s just about $2,392 worth of Bitcoin (BTC), a tiny iota of his net worth; about 0.000012%. As of February 24, Musk’s total net worth stood at $21.4 billion.
Musk hasn’t been very vocal about his thoughts or opinions on the cryptocurrency market. Back in June 2017, he commented, “Bitcoin is probably a good thing… I think it’s primarily going to be a means of doing illiquid transactions” over a Vanity Fair interview.
Musk may not hold much in terms of cryptocurrency, but it remains difficult to keep him out of the equation when pondering over disrupting technologies such as distributed ledger. BothMusk and Bitcoin (BTC) are here to disrupt what already exists; technology being the key enabler in both cases.
