Coinbase has announced a major new hire, as Rachel Horowitz joins as the Vice President of Communications. The communications expert previously served as Director of Technology Communications at Facebook, as well as taking on comms roles at Twitter and Spark Capital. Coinbase had this to say about the appointment:

Coinbase is currently experiencing rapid growth, and is now taking steps to bolster its senior team to ensure continuity of service. Indeed, recent hires include Emilie Choi (Vice President of Corporate and Business Development), Tina Bhatnagar (Vice President of Operations and Technology) and Eric Scro (Vice President of Finance). In their official press release, they also said:
