Crypto’s latest form of exposure is mobile gaming, and it’s set to be far-reaching, as the Simpsons add references to their games. But Marvel is also getting in on the act, with a new Wolverine issue set to heavily reference digital currencies too.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out
Tapped Out is a Freemium Android and iOS game which allows users to develop and maintain their own version of Springfield. Now, they are introducing a quest called Crypto Cool, where players must attempt to keep Springfield Elementary nerd Martin Prince talking about crypto for as long as possible. And without giving too much away, the trademark cutting humor of the TV show is there for all to see, as Prince’s dialogue bears close resemblance to conversations many of us may have overhead, involving loud-mouthed wannabe experts.
Marvel Comics’ Hunt for Wolverine – Adamantium Agenda #1
Meanwhile, Marvel are getting in on the act. Adamantium Agenda #1 is written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by RB Silva. In it, Tony Stark AKA Iron Man decides to make a payment using Bitcoin, and there is a hilarious back-and-forth between the characters. Again, we’re not going to give anything away at Bitrazzi – take a look and see for yourself!
More and More Exposure
This all points at one thing though; exposure. Crypto is currently leaving no stone un-turned, including being written into games and comics that have a worldwide audience of millions. It isn’t inconceivable that the world is being set up for the next generation, for whom Bitcoin is so ubiquitous that it is considered the norm. And if that happens, the sky’s the limit for crypto.
